报告摘要:Complex Dynamics Materials (CDMs) are a class of composite and multiphase solids (foams, bio-based and hydrogels-types composites) with exposure to high amplitude dynamic loads. Traditional design and manufacturing of CDMs including trial and error experimental tests and high fidelity Finite Element (FE) simulations are often applied in practical engineering, but are usually costly and computationally expensive. In order to address these challenges, a novel systems science-based design approach was developed by our team at the University of Sheffield. The approach involves (i) the identification of data driven models for materials undergoing dynamic loadings, where the design and manufacturing parameters are explicitly embedded as variable coefficients; (ii) the model based design for engineering materials that need to withstand demanding dynamic loads. This talk will introduce this new approach and demonstrate its application to the design of thermoelastic auxetic foam that concerned by researchers from the University of Bristol in UK.


报告人简介:朱云鹏,伦敦玛丽女王大学(Queen Mary University of London)工程与材料科学系助理教授,博士生导师。分别于2013年和2015年在东北大学机械工程与自动化学院取得学士学位和硕士学位,并于2019年在英国谢菲尔德大学(The University of Sheffield)自动控制与系统工程系取得博士学位(全额奖学金)。曾获2018年国家优秀自费留学生奖学金(全球500人/年)。博士论文获Springer Thesis Award,并于2020年由Springer集团出版。研究方向包括数据驱动科学,非线性动力学,非线性系统故障诊断,复杂系统建模与控制,复杂系统动力学设计等。目前发表论文60余篇,学术专著2部。
